Veeam is seeking a Customer Success Engineer to drive long-term technical outcomes for enterprise and commercial customers on the Veeam Data Platform. This is a mid-level, customer-facing technical role combining hands-on engineering expertise with account management and executive stakeholder engagement. You will own a portfolio of 5–50 named accounts ($100K+ ARR each), serving as the primary technical owner for customer success. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and CS leadership to influence pricing, commercial terms, and renewal strategy. You'll also partner on marketing-informed campaigns to drive adoption and expansion. Required qualifications: 5+ years in customer-facing engineering roles (Technical Consulting, Pre-Sales SE, Technical Account Manager) focused on data backup and recovery; advanced English and German language skills; hands-on expertise in operating systems, virtualization, storage, scripting/automation, cloud platforms, and DR&R best practices; strong experience designing protection plans, migrations, and recovery simulations; VMCE certification (may be completed post-hire); proven ability to translate business outcomes into technical adoption roadmaps; and executive stakeholder engagement skills. Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional), Microsoft Azure Administrator, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certifications.
