TRM Labs is seeking a Customer Solutions Engineer to own the technical relationship with US federal and national-security customers throughout the sales and deployment lifecycle. You will be responsible for understanding complex customer requirements, designing business processes and technical architectures, demonstrating and customizing the TRM platform, integrating TRM APIs into mission workflows, and supporting customers in achieving outcomes on the platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own end-to-end solution delivery from discovery through deployment, including requirements gathering, solution design, platform customization, API integration, testing, and training
- Act as the primary technical consultant during discovery and sales calls, documenting requirements and guiding solution architecture
- Present TRM's APIs and technical architecture, providing implementation guidance, timelines, and risk assessment while ensuring alignment with customer strategic goals
- Develop and maintain high-quality integration resources including API documentation, reference architectures, and implementation guides to accelerate future customer onboarding
- Build and maintain strong relationships with technical stakeholders, providing expert support throughout integration and troubleshooting
- Stay current with TRM's evolving product features and technical dependencies, advocating for product enhancements based on customer needs
Required qualifications:
- Professional experience in pre- and post-sales technical roles (Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Customer Success Engineer)
- US Citizenship required (no dual citizenship) due to federal customer base
- Exceptional customer-facing skills with ability to communicate complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven experience customizing and implementing API-based SaaS products at scale
- Scripting proficiency in one or more languages (Python, JavaScript, TypeScript) to build proofs of concept
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills with ability to handle multiple complex tasks independently
- High initiative and proactive approach to identifying improvements
- Bonus: AI development experience
The Solutions Engineering team is globally distributed and fully remote with core collaboration hours 8am-5pm ET. The role involves occasional off-hours availability during live mission operations but no formal on-call rotation. TRM operates at high velocity with emphasis on ownership, clarity, and rapid execution.
