Anthropic is seeking an experienced Customer Marketing Manager to build and scale customer storytelling across industries deploying Claude. This role goes beyond traditional case study development—you'll identify high-impact customer narratives, cultivate early wins into flagship stories, and turn deployment milestones into coordinated announcements that drive adoption.
You will own the full customer storytelling lifecycle for a portfolio of industry verticals: identifying which customers and proof points matter most, building relationships with customer executives and champions, guiding stories through approval and publication, and partnering with Sales, Communications, and creative teams to maximize impact. Where Claude is newly landing in an industry, you'll develop the bench of referenceable customers and narratives that unlock entire verticals.
Key responsibilities include owning storytelling for assigned industries from identification through distribution; identifying and prioritizing new verticals where customer evidence accelerates adoption; building relationships with customer executives to foster authentic advocacy; partnering with Sales on account-level advocacy plans; coordinating with Communications to shape customer announcements and press moments; and collaborating with brand and creative teams on video series, out-of-home campaigns, and other high-visibility creative initiatives.
You'll operate with autonomy and speed, building the playbooks and frameworks that let customer storytelling scale across the organization. This role requires strong written and verbal storytelling abilities proven through technical customer stories that drove business results, experience building relationships with technical executives at major enterprises, a track record of guiding customers from early success to public advocacy, experience partnering with Communications/PR teams, ability to create content in multiple formats, and a data-driven approach to measuring program impact.
Preferred experience includes 6+ years in customer marketing or advocacy (ideally B2B SaaS or enterprise technology), marketing to traditional industries (manufacturing, energy, retail, media, travel), standing up customer programs in new markets from the ground up, customer advisory board and executive event programming, and building customer loyalty or community programs.
The role requires presence at the San Francisco or New York office at least once monthly and up to 40% travel for events and customer engagements.
