Reducto is an agentic document platform serving leading AI teams and enterprise customers. The company has grown 8x YoY, raised $108M from top-tier investors (a16z, Benchmark, First Round), and partners with companies like Harvey, Vanta, Scale, and FAANG firms. As Reducto's first in-house Video Producer, you will build the video function from the ground up and own the complete creative process: ideation, scripting, pre-production, filming, lighting, sound, editing, and delivery. You'll define how Reducto tells stories through video across product launches, customer case studies, developer content, and company culture. Key responsibilities include: - Conceive and produce the full range of video content: product launches, customer stories, technical explainers, developer interviews, employee profiles, and event coverage. - Develop repeatable video series and original formats that establish a distinctive visual and editorial voice for Reducto. - Create customer case-study videos by working directly with customers to capture their use of Reducto. - Partner with engineering and developer relations to produce technical demos, explainers, and educational content. - Capture company culture through employee profiles, founder content, office moments, off-sites, and conferences. - Repurpose each production for multiple channels: YouTube, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and paid campaigns. - Create motion graphics, animation, and visual elements to clarify product stories. - Experiment with emerging AI tools for animation, asset generation, and editing while maintaining creative judgment. - Collaborate with the broader marketing team to align video with launches, campaigns, and company priorities. - Build systems and workflows for a high-output video function, including equipment recommendations, asset organization, and external support. You'll work closely with founders, engineers, sales, customers, and the broader team in a fast-moving, early-stage environment. This role combines storytelling instincts with hands-on production resourcefulness and requires the ability to make technical ideas feel clear, creative, and compelling. REQUIREMENTS: - Strong portfolio of work you personally produced, filmed, and edited, with clear explanation of your role in each project. - High bar for quality and craft, with strong attention to detail: framing, sound, pacing, design, and final edit. - Deep curiosity about AI and technology, with interest in highlighting human stories behind technical innovation. - Excellent storytelling instincts and ability to find compelling narratives in products, people, and company moments. - Ability to direct non-professional on-camera talent and help them feel natural and confident. - Full ownership mentality—you turn ideas into briefs, schedule shoots, and complete edits independently. - Experience is not measured by years; evidence of recognizing strong stories, executing them, and delivering results is what matters. BONUS EXPERIENCE: - Sole or first video hire at an early-stage or high-growth startup. - Multidisciplinary creative background spanning video, photography, design, journalism, writing, or social content. - Experience in media: YouTube, digital publications, newsrooms, documentary production, or creator-led channels. - Content production for technical, developer, or B2B audiences. - Customer interviews, event coverage, conference filming, or documentary-style storytelling. - Built or grown a social or YouTube channel with understanding of format, pacing, packaging, and distribution impact.
