Salary: USD 160,000 - 190,000 / annual
Workstream is a Series B, venture-backed HR, payroll, and hiring platform purpose-built for the hourly workforce. With 2.7 billion hourly workers making up 80% of the global workforce, Workstream serves leading brands including Burger King, Carl's Jr./Hardee's, IHOP, KFC, and Culvers. The company is backed by Founders Fund, BOND, and Coatue and has raised over $120M.
You will join as Head of Brand & Product Marketing, owning positioning, launches, and brand strategy as Workstream expands from a vertical SaaS leader into an AI-native platform for the entire frontline workforce. You'll run product marketing, brand, content, and design as one integrated team, reporting directly to revenue leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
**Positioning & Narrative**: Own Workstream's end-to-end positioning and messaging, including the strategic question of leading with restaurant dominance versus the broader frontline-workforce story. You'll test positioning with data, not debate it internally.
**Product Launches**: Run go-to-market launches for a portfolio that ships AI products (like an AI assistant for frontline teams) alongside hiring, HR, and payroll. You'll own messaging, pricing & packaging input, launch plans, and sales enablement that makes the team effective in week one.
**Brand & Content**: Lead the content and design team across website, case studies, video, webinars, and social. Raise the bar on all customer-facing materials and leverage AI to produce at a pace a team twice your size couldn't match previously.
**Sales Enablement**: Arm account executives and partnerships with narratives, competitive teardowns, ROI stories, and customer proof points. Sit in on deals, talk to lost prospects, and adapt messaging based on market feedback.
**Team Leadership**: Manage and grow a small, high-output team of product marketers, content marketers, and designers. Be the strongest individual contributor on the team when it matters.
This is a 4–5 days per week in-office role in Lehi. The company supports relocation and visa sponsorship for the right candidate. Occasional travel for customer visits, conferences, and team events is expected.
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years in B2B marketing with real product marketing depth
- Proven management experience building and leading hungry, dynamic marketing teams
- Founder energy: you've started something (company, category, or function from zero) and default to action; former founders are particularly welcome
- Strong writing and positioning skills; ability to build systems so the team produces sharp work independently
- AI-native: you already use AI agents across daily work and will push the team to do the same
- Commercially ruthless: you measure marketing in pipeline and revenue, not vanity metrics
- Hunger to outwork the market and take on VP-level scope earlier than traditional corporate paths allow
- Experience with SMB buyers, hourly/frontline workforces, HR tech, or payroll is a strong plus
