OpenArt is a leading AI creative platform used by millions worldwide, building next-generation tools for visual storytelling powered by cutting-edge AI. The company is developing an agentic creative environment that understands creator intent, orchestrates the right capabilities, and maintains user control.
You'll sit between creators and product, turning real pain points in professional creative workflows into validated solutions. This role requires someone who can identify problems, research workflows, deliver end-to-end prototypes, make the case for solutions, and hand off to engineering for shipping. You won't just make demos—you'll find the problem, validate it, and drive it to product launch.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying workflow bottlenecks by embedding with in-house creative teams and enterprise clients
- Teaching the agent to run complex generative workflows end-to-end (e.g., brief to finished ad variants, single video to multiple languages)
- Turning complex workflows into intuitive experiences, deciding what the agent handles versus where professionals need control
- Rapidly prototyping new concepts using AI tools, Figma, lightweight code, and APIs
- Defining clear hypotheses for each prototype and assessing results (scale, iterate, or stop)
- Driving validated prototypes from concept to launch with product, model, and engineering teams
OpenArt is one of the largest AI video generation platforms globally with millions of monthly active users and partnerships with Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, BytePlus, and Kling. Your prototypes will become products on the roadmap, you'll work at the frontier of AI and creativity with early access to new models, and you'll have direct impact on product direction.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fluency in professional creative pipelines: hands-on experience in advertising, film, or content production; understanding of every stage from brief to delivery and ability to pinpoint real bottlenecks
- Moves fluidly between design and engineering: proficient with AI coding tools, model APIs, agent frameworks, and lightweight code; can independently turn concepts into working prototypes quickly
- End-to-end delivery capability: can independently take work from problem definition and workflow research through interaction design, visual design, and usable prototype to professional standards
- Strong product taste: high bar for craft, polish, and interaction quality; knows the difference between something that works and something that works well
- Portfolio or GitHub demonstrating tools, prototypes, products, or experiments you've built
NICE TO HAVE:
- Proficiency with professional creative tools (editing, compositing, motion, 3D)
- Background in advertising, film, or content production
- Experience at a creative lab, innovation agency, or AI product team
- Experience building with agents (tool-calling, MCP, skills, or custom automations)
