Salary: USD 250,000 - 270,000 / annual
StockX is seeking a Creative Director to lead the global creative direction of the StockX brand across all marketing channels and touchpoints. This role owns the development of bespoke creative for key brand and marketing initiatives including seasonal campaigns, editorial content, events, partnerships, cultural moments, paid media, performance marketing, and social content.
You will define and evolve the StockX brand identity through creative direction, visual design, messaging, photography, video, and storytelling. You'll lead the development of creative concepts that work across multiple marketing channels while remaining compelling, brand-aligned, and results-driven. Key responsibilities include establishing processes to maintain consistent brand standards across all customer touchpoints, leading cross-functional projects to ensure creative aligns with brand positioning and business objectives, and presenting creative concepts to internal stakeholders while maintaining creative integrity.
You'll manage creative resources to ensure work meets quality standards, is delivered on time and within budget, and skillfully translate global creative vision to international markets with local flexibility. The role requires staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep campaigns fresh and relevant, and mentoring creative team members with high-level direction, hands-on feedback, and development opportunities.
The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of experience in advertising, branding, or creative direction at consumer brands, creative agencies, editorial publications, or retailers (in-house experience preferred). You have a strong portfolio demonstrating creative work that unifies strategy and execution across channels, aesthetics, and budgets. Passion for sneaker and streetwear culture is essential, with experience in fashion, lifestyle, or product-driven brands a plus.
Required skills include exceptional creative concepting, extensive experience leading art direction for photography and video, fluency with native digital content creation (organic social, onsite merchandising, performance marketing), and expert knowledge of e-commerce and digital marketing best practices. You're proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and production tools, understand contemporary social media platforms and trends, and can leverage performance metrics and customer insights to inform strategic recommendations. You're a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, startup environments, communicates exceptionally well, and has proven ability to mentor creative talent.
