Weave is seeking a Corporate Strategist to join its Strategy team, reporting to the Sr. Director of Strategy. This role is integral to helping Weave's C-Team and executive leadership craft and execute corporate strategy.
The position is approximately 75% dedicated to supporting Weave's payments and partnerships organizations, with 25% supporting broader strategy team responsibilities. You will own five key strategic areas:
**BizOps & Internal Consulting:** Lead strategy and execution projects supporting the Head of Product (Payments & RCM), GM of Payments, VP of Partnerships, CRO, and other departments. Develop revenue growth strategies (e.g., scaling the payments business, testing new pricing models and partnerships). Analyze internal business practices to identify operational bottlenecks and provide executive-level recommendations for improvement and optimization.
**Strategy Planning:** Develop Weave's 3-year Strategy Model including vision, values, focus areas, objectives, KPIs, and major initiatives. Build competitive response plans and conduct strategic position analysis using frameworks like SWOT. Assist the CEO and C-Team in running key leadership meetings and workshops, including C-suite offsites and board meetings.
**New Market Expansion:** Identify new markets, conduct initial research, and help align resources across Weave to launch into new industries and international markets. Identify strategic partnerships for Weave's payments and RCM product lines.
**M&A:** Identify acquisition targets, perform due diligence on potential merger and acquisition targets, and help lead post-merger integration efforts.
**Competitive Intelligence:** Produce robust analysis and insights into Weave's competitive landscape, particularly for payments and RCM competitors and industry leaders/startups.
You will need strong executive presence, the ability to prepare and deliver persuasive, data-driven arguments to senior management, and comfort building executive-quality presentations and memos. The role requires navigating competing stakeholder interests diplomatically, working effectively cross-functionally, and thriving in ambiguous situations. You must be hyper-organized with excellent project management skills, flexible in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong written and verbal communication abilities.
**Requirements:**
- 5–10 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, revenue operations, or related field
- Experience in payments and RCM industry preferred
- Undergraduate degree required, preferably in a quantitative field (STEM)
- 3–4+ years of SaaS experience (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with strategy frameworks and helping organizations craft 1–3 year strategies
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with common data tools (Excel, Sigma/Tableau, SQL, Snowflake, etc.)
- Experience with financial modeling (preferred but not required)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a small, high-trust environment
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to break complex problems into manageable parts
