As a General Manager Associate for Spain, you will support the General Manager on top business priorities including unlocking new growth, driving strategic alignment, and building internal and external processes. This is a high-impact role offering exposure to multiple business functions and strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities include: - Corporate & Governance: Support board pack preparation, conduct market research, prepare key meetings, coordinate Monthly Business Reviews - Growth: Support marketing initiatives and partnership development - Brand & Communication: Develop corporate brand presence at business events, write newsletters, manage social media - Strategy: Contribute to strategic vision, screen markets and competition, produce business analyses, build growth models - Product: Identify and explore strategic product opportunities - Talent Acquisition: Source and recruit top talent - Team: Organize Spanish off-site, kick-off events, and team bonding activities Recent projects completed by the global founder associates team include: coordinating fundraising with pitch deck preparation and financial analysis; exploring health service opportunities through market research; supporting M&A processes including due diligence and integration; managing key tenders as project manager; organizing annual company events with multi-million budgets; and coordinating recurring internal communications and business reviews. You will gain comprehensive exposure to Alan's strategic priorities while working closely with senior leadership. The role offers exponential growth potential in a non-traditional, high-impact environment. Location: Based in Barcelona or Madrid with remote work flexibility. REQUIREMENTS: - 3-7 years of experience in strategy, operations, or consulting - Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish - Sharp analytical thinking: ability to ask the right questions, break down complex problems, and develop solutions backed by solid reasoning - Business sense: think like an owner, understand what makes companies great, make good decisions under uncertainty - Strong execution: drive projects forward and rally others around shared goals - Versatility: switch between different topics without losing impact - Autonomy and rigor: organized, reliable, able to own projects from start to finish - Clear communication: express needs clearly and inspire action - Proactivity: deliver quickly and well, spot problems early, propose new ideas - Growth mindset: actively seek and apply feedback for improvement - Salary band: B1-C1 level per company salary equity framework
