Datadog is seeking a Corporate Communications Manager, Social Media to lead the day-to-day execution of the company's social media presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. This role sits at the intersection of content creation, strategy, and corporate communications, reporting to the Senior Group Manager of Corporate Communications while partnering closely with the Senior Social Media Manager and broader Corporate Communications team.
Key responsibilities include managing the social content calendar and executing across all channels; developing and executing social communication plans for product announcements, launches, global events, and company initiatives in partnership with cross-functional teams; creating content and programs that showcase Datadog, including employee advocacy initiatives and event support; monitoring social channels and engaging with relevant conversations while routing important mentions to appropriate teams; analyzing social performance and translating results into actionable insights for executives and stakeholders; and refining Datadog's social strategy, processes, and audience engagement approaches.
You bring 4–6 years of experience in social media strategy and content creation, ideally within corporate communications, marketing, or brand marketing. You are a strong writer and editor with excellent attention to detail and the ability to develop engaging content for distinct audiences and channels. You understand how social media integrates with media relations, executive communications, paid opportunities, and broader integrated communications programs. You have hands-on experience with social media analytics and management platforms such as Sprout Social or Hootsuite, and can translate performance data into insights for senior audiences. You can manage multiple channels, projects, and stakeholders while collaborating effectively across a large organization. You're curious about social platforms, trends, culture, and emerging technologies, including opportunities to leverage tools such as large language models to improve workflows.
