Tenstorrent is a cutting-edge AI technology company developing high-performance RISC-V CPUs and AI platforms that unify innovations in software, compilers, platforms, networking, and semiconductors.
The Corporate Controller will build and lead a trusted global accounting function that scales with the company's rapid growth. This is a foundational role responsible for establishing accounting infrastructure, controls, and processes that will support the organization through multiple scaling phases without requiring rebuilds.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a global accounting organization with clear ownership and high standards
- Owning monthly, quarterly, and annual close quality, speed, and predictability
- Setting accounting policy across revenue, inventory, leases, equity, debt, and foreign currency
- Partnering early with Commercial, Legal, Tax, Treasury, Operations, and Strategic Finance teams
- Building controls into workflows while protecting execution speed
- Replacing manual accounting work with ERP, automation, data, and AI-enabled tools
- Designing accounting systems across entities, jurisdictions, currencies, and business models
The role offers exposure to how product development, suppliers, manufacturing, contracts, revenue, and cash interconnect in a hardware/semiconductor environment, and the opportunity to build an accounting system with AI integrated into every workflow.
This is a remote position based in the United States. The company welcomes candidates at various experience levels and will assess appropriate seniority during the interview process.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 15+ years leading accounting or controllership teams in complex organizations
- CPA or equivalent credential
- Deep US GAAP and financial reporting expertise
- Experience in technology, semiconductor, hardware, manufacturing, or similar environments
- Demonstrated ability to scale teams, controls, systems, and processes through rapid growth
- Senior accounting leader with deep technical judgment and strong operational discipline
