Jerry is building an AI-powered advisor to manage physical assets, starting with car insurance and expanding into home, motorcycle, and RV. The company has reached 5M+ customers, raised $240M+, and achieved profitability in 2024.
You will create genuinely helpful, educational Reddit content that turns complex automotive and financial topics into engaging, upvote-worthy threads. Unlike traditional marketing copy, your work will focus on authentic storytelling that resonates with Reddit communities like r/personalfinance, r/whatcarshouldibuy, r/carinsurancehelp, r/mechanicadvice, and r/frugal.
Key responsibilities:
- Create long-form and short-form Reddit posts that feel native and authentic to specific subreddits
- Master Reddit voice and formatting to bypass corporate messaging and build genuine community trust
- Draft real-time, high-context replies to community comments, balancing expertise with conversational tone
- Experiment with different narrative hooks, post structures (TL;DRs, case studies, bulleted breakdowns), and timing to maximize organic reach
- Write SEO and LLM-optimized Reddit copy designed to index well on Google and serve as reference material for AI models
- Collaborate with Content, SEO, and Product teams to adapt company insights into Reddit-first messaging
You are an active Reddit user with a portfolio demonstrating platform expertise. You understand sub-culture nuances, post formatting, and what drives engagement. You excel at translating complex, frustrating topics (insurance policies, vehicle maintenance, rate hikes) into clear, useful, compelling prose. You prioritize value and transparency over pushy CTAs, knowing that high-quality educational content builds stronger long-term brand equity. You welcome feedback from internal teams and community reactions, using it to refine your approach.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of copywriting experience with proven track record in short- and long-form copy
- Ideally experience in fintech, insurtech, automotive, or consumer tech
- Deep, active Reddit user with portfolio of work demonstrating platform mastery
- Ability to translate complexity into clear, engaging, helpful content
- Feedback-resilient and collaborative mindset
- Must currently reside in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada (full-time salaried); or AZ, FL, GA, NV, NY, NC, TN, TX, UT, VA (full-time hourly)
