Linktree is seeking a Content Studio Lead to build and lead a creator-first creative system for owned content. This is a player-coach role combining strategic creative direction with hands-on production work.
You will set the creative direction and build the studio's roster, systems, and standards while rolling up your sleeves to develop concepts, direct creator capture, and produce first-pass work as needed. You'll define how creators are used creatively across channels, translate strategic briefs into clear creator and production briefs, and direct work from concept through final asset.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and leading a creator-led content flywheel from audience insight through performance learning
- Setting and upholding creative standards that reinforce Linktree's product vision and business objectives
- Developing creative design and motion systems for social and content with repeatable templates
- Translating audience insights and performance data into resonant creative concepts and campaigns
- Building and directing the Content Studio's core disciplines with clear ways of working
- Coordinating with internal creative teams to ensure consistency and avoid duplication
- Setting the final creative bar for authenticity, storytelling, brand consistency, and production quality
- Leading larger creative initiatives and tentpole concepts with specialist support
You'll work with a flexible roster of creators, writers, producers, editors, and specialist contractors. Rather than inheriting a finished studio, you'll help build it from the ground up, personally creating and prototyping work early on, then scaling execution as the model matures.
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years in creative direction, brand creative, or content production with team/freelance leadership experience
- Deep understanding of the creator economy and how creators serve as storytellers
- Ability to move between setting vision, giving feedback, and stepping into production work
- Experience developing creator concepts, writing briefs, directing talent, and polishing raw material
- Strong judgment about authenticity versus over-production
- Experience leading multidisciplinary contractors and flexible production rosters
- Ability to direct copy, design, motion, and video with consistent creative standards
- Experience building creative systems, templates, and repeatable formats
- Fluency across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Threads, and long-form formats
- Outstanding communication and feedback skills
- Proven ability to translate insights and data into creative concepts
- Strong creative taste and track record as brand steward
