Higher Logic, a community solutions platform serving 3,000+ customers across 350,000+ online communities, is hiring a Content Marketing Manager to create engaging content for associations and B2B companies. Reporting to the Senior Content Marketing Manager, you'll own content projects end-to-end—from concept through publication and promotion—across multiple formats including blog posts, ebooks, guides, webinar content, website copy, and organic social media.
Key responsibilities include: writing and editing long-form and short-form content; contributing ideas to the editorial calendar by identifying audience needs and timely opportunities; managing assigned projects through research, drafting, stakeholder review, and revision; helping manage Higher Logic's organic social channels including content planning, scheduling, and performance reporting; creating social media carousels and short-form videos using design templates; interviewing subject matter experts to translate complex product and industry information into clear content; adapting messaging across audiences and formats while maintaining brand voice; applying SEO best practices; managing freelance writers and external content partners; and collaborating with demand generation, product marketing, brand, design, and cross-functional teams.
You'll work in a high-trust, collaborative environment where some projects come with established briefs while others let you recommend approaches and shape the work. The role values independent judgment, the ability to move projects forward without extensive day-to-day direction, and comfort with AI-powered tools to accelerate development while maintaining editorial quality.
Required: 3+ years in content marketing, editorial, communications, or related field; experience writing and editing both long-form and short-form content; working knowledge of SEO principles; strong editorial judgment; project management and organizational skills; ability to work independently and seek collaboration when needed; comfort using performance data; experience collaborating with designers, marketers, and subject matter experts; bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred: organic social media management experience; freelance writer or vendor management; familiarity with B2B SaaS, associations, membership organizations, or marketing technology; experience with WordPress, Semrush, GA4, HubSpot, Salesforce, Hootsuite, Canva, ChatGPT, or Riverside.
