Float is Canada's intelligent financial operating system, combining modern financial services and software to help businesses spend, save, and grow. Trusted by over 7,500 Canadian companies, Float provides corporate cards, automated expense management, bill payments, high-yield accounts, and support—all built in Canada. Recently raised $85M Series C and backed by top-tier investors including Inovia Capital, Goldman Sachs Growth Equity, and OMERS Ventures.
The Content Marketing Manager will own Float's organic social channels and content strategy, reporting to the Content & Communications Lead. This is a hands-on, multi-format creator role focused on building Float's brand presence across Canada.
Key responsibilities include: producing pillar content pieces and repurposing them into video, social, written, and email assets; building and growing Float's presence on YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Reddit, and the blog; managing the content calendar in partnership with Growth Marketing to drive acquisition and conversion; running video production end-to-end (strategy, planning, shooting, editing); building and documenting AI workflows for research, scripting, editing, and repurposing; and testing new formats and angles based on performance data.
Required experience: approximately 5 years in content marketing, video production, or social content, ideally in B2B SaaS. Must demonstrate a track record building and growing a video-first social presence, with YouTube experience strongly preferred. Hands-on video skills required: ability to plan shoots, conduct interviews, and edit independently. Strong writing and editing ability, including the judgment to refine AI-generated drafts. Proven ability to repurpose substantial assets across multiple channels. Practical AI fluency with concrete examples of workflow improvements. Experience growing brands in the Canadian market and fintech/finance background is a strong plus. Must be based in Toronto to support regular in-person video creation.
The role is not a fit if you prefer handing production to agencies, lack hands-on video experience, focus primarily on long-form writing, want a large team or narrow specialty, haven't integrated AI into your workflow, are uncomfortable on camera, or prefer stable processes over continuous evolution.
