August Health is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to lead end-to-end content creation and strategy for a Series B healthtech company transforming senior living through modern EHR and operating platform software. You'll own the content calendar across blogs, LinkedIn, newsletters, event programming, and sales enablement, reporting directly into the marketing function.
Key responsibilities include: writing and publishing thought leadership articles, blogs, and video scripts; managing LinkedIn content for brand and executive accounts; producing customer stories, case studies, and testimonials; supporting event content including speaking submissions and presentations; developing person-based newsletters with key stakeholders; repurposing content across formats and channels; tracking content performance and sharing insights; and ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.
You'll work closely with executives, sales, events, and customer success teams to source stories and translate customer insights into compelling narratives. The role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution—one day outlining thought leadership with an executive, the next publishing a polished case study or video script.
Required: 5+ years of B2B content marketing experience, ideally as a first or sole content hire at a startup. You should have a proven track record building and executing multi-channel content calendars, producing diverse formats (articles, case studies, video scripts, thought leadership), and managing LinkedIn content for both brand and individual accounts. Strong writing and editing skills, excellent organizational ability to manage multiple projects independently, and a curious, resourceful mindset are essential. Healthcare or health tech background is preferred but not required.
August Health is backed by top-tier Silicon Valley investors and partners with major senior care organizations. The team includes leaders from Apple, Google, Landmark Health, and Adobe. Compensation is market-competitive with significant equity grants, 100% company-paid health/dental/vision, HSA contributions, 2% 401(k) match, flexible PTO, 100% paid family leave, and twice-yearly in-person offsites.
