Abacus Insights is a healthcare data analytics platform backed by $100M in funding, transforming how health plans use data to improve outcomes and reduce costs. The company is building a content engine to establish thought leadership and market presence.
As Content Manager, you'll own content strategy and execution end-to-end, building the editorial function from the ground up. This is a key individual contributor role with no direct reports, focused on translating deep technical expertise into compelling, market-facing content.
Your responsibilities include:
**Content Strategy & Planning:** Develop and maintain an integrated editorial calendar aligned to product launches and business priorities. Run the content production cadence—intake SME drafts, develop them into finished assets, and deliver on schedule. Identify content gaps across the buyer journey and recommend new assets to support marketing objectives. Manage timelines and coordinate deliverables across internal stakeholders.
**Content Development:** Create original content that establishes Abacus's point of view on priority solution areas. Turn content briefs into blog posts, articles, white papers, and SEO-optimized content. Develop website copy, eBooks, executive thought leadership pieces, video scripts, and webinar materials.
**Copy Editing & Brand Voice:** Serve as copy editor across marketing projects, ensuring brand voice, clarity, grammar, and consistency. Build competitive intelligence to sharpen messaging.
**Cross-functional Collaboration:** Work closely with Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, and Sales Enablement to ensure content, campaigns, and sales materials speak with one voice.
You'll work with subject matter experts across the company, translating healthcare data expertise into original, compelling narratives. This role is ideal for someone who loves turning technical complexity into clear stories and wants to build a content function from scratch.
