Tensec is a fintech founded in 2023 that enables SMBs to access global transaction banking solutions for cross-border trade. The company is backed by top-tier VCs (Quiet Capital, Costanoa Ventures, Coinbase Ventures) and has a leadership team with experience from PayPal, Credit Karma, Facebook, Goldman Sachs, Visa, and Mastercard.
You will build the content and thought leadership engine for Tensec's go-to-market strategy, reporting to the Global Head of GTM. Your primary audience is freight forwarders, trading companies, and logistics operators in Brazil and Mexico—buyers who value credibility and relationships over traditional marketing channels.
Key responsibilities:
**Build the content system**: Design and operate a repeatable content production machine that extracts insights from busy executives and publishes them at scale without becoming a bottleneck on their time. You'll manage voice consistency across multiple authors as the program grows from a small group toward the full leadership team.
**Author original thought leadership**: Write under your own name on topics only Tensec can credibly address—cross-border FX mechanics, original data from transaction flows, payment clearing processes across jurisdictions. You'll own the company positioning and establish a distinct point of view in the market.
**Leverage AI strategically**: Use AI-assisted tools to reach publishing volume one person cannot sustain manually. The critical skill is judgment: knowing when an AI draft is genuinely strong versus merely acceptable, and understanding precisely where AI assistance stops adding value.
**Measure impact honestly**: Build attribution and measurement frameworks using available signals. Report pipeline influence transparently and resist inflating sourcing claims. You'll own the integrity of reporting.
**Navigate compliance**: Work closely with the compliance and legal teams to ensure all content meets regulatory requirements for a licensed fintech operating in multiple jurisdictions. You'll operate within a standing rule set and escalate only genuine edge cases.
You'll start with LinkedIn as the primary channel (where the target audience congregates and Tensec has no presence), but you'll help shape where the content engine points next. Positioning and messaging will be locked before you start, so you won't spend your first year arguing for strategic permission.
The role is hybrid: 3 days per week in the Palo Alto office for Bay Area candidates. You'll be the first person dedicated to this function, so you'll design the system rather than inherit one.
