Sage Health is building modern fall prevention and emergency response systems for older adults in senior living facilities. As Content Lead, you will own Sage's end-to-end content strategy and execution, driving brand awareness, audience education, and growth through compelling storytelling across web, email, blog, social, and long-form channels. You will develop and maintain the overarching content strategy across multiple audiences and formats, own content calendars and campaign planning in collaboration with marketing, product, and go-to-market teams. You'll define and execute Sage's SEO and generative engine optimization (GEO) strategy to increase discoverability across search engines and AI-powered platforms. This includes creating and managing high-quality editorial content—from thought leadership pieces and case studies to newsletters and landing pages. A key responsibility is leading and mentoring the Social Media Manager, setting strategy for Sage's social channels and ensuring alignment with brand, voice, and business objectives. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to align content with business goals and positioning, measure content performance using data-driven insights, and continuously optimize strategy based on audience feedback. You'll also manage freelance writers, agencies, and other creative partners while upholding and evolving Sage's brand voice. This is a hands-on role requiring strategic thinking to define what content should exist and why before determining execution. You'll translate complex healthcare and technology topics into clear, engaging narratives. Success requires comfort operating in ambiguity within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment where you build processes as you go. Minimum qualifications: 4-6+ years in content strategy, brand storytelling, or editorial leadership; demonstrated ability to craft strategic content across digital channels; strong writing and editing skills with a portfolio showing creativity and clarity; experience in fast-growing, cross-functional teams, particularly in mission-driven or healthcare companies; comfort with end-to-end content management in ambiguous environments. Preferred: B2B experience (open to D2C with marketing function reporting); background in brand development, content design, or virtual healthcare/wellness sectors.
