Salary: USD 109,000 - 128,000 / annual
Blend is a cloud banking platform used by major financial institutions including Wells Fargo and U.S. Bank to deliver digital lending experiences. The platform processes over $5 billion in loans daily across 330+ financial services firms.
As a Professional Services Consultant, you will serve as the implementation lead and primary client contact for customer deployments. You will own the full project lifecycle: planning, product configuration, dependency and risk management, stakeholder sign-offs, and go-live execution. Your responsibilities include:
• Master Blend's product suite and earn product certifications to tackle customer business challenges as the configuration and implementation lead
• Own end-to-end engagement delivery: develop and maintain project plans, forecast timelines, integrate customer testing schedules, track progress, manage dependencies and risks, and flag critical issues early
• Present to customer business and technical stakeholders in person and remotely, running demos, walkthroughs, and working sessions to keep engagements aligned; occasional onsite travel to client locations is expected
• Partner with customer business and technical teams to understand objectives and integration requirements, producing business requirements and functional design documents
• Translate client needs into clear, comprehensive written requirements and specifications for Product Owners and engineering teams
• Execute end-to-end software and platform configuration changes, from UI screens and application settings to branding and environment changes
• Plan and execute integration testing and user acceptance testing, triage defects, and run launch activities to successful go-live
• Collaborate with Blend Product and Engineering teams to share customer requirements, influence product priorities, and improve core features
• Act as engagement manager and primary client contact, running regular meetings, leading discovery, recommending solution options, and owning customer satisfaction

REQUIREMENTS:
• Relevant experience with full-lifecycle package software implementations (SaaS preferred); candidates with broader experience will own multiple, more complex, higher-risk engagements
• Proven ability to project-manage engagements, running multiple projects simultaneously, including project plan preparation and maintenance, scope control, and project risk management
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, present in person and remotely, and tailor messaging to each audience
• Skilled at writing clear requirements and specifications for Product Owners and technical integration teams, translating business needs into precise, buildable scope
• Strong attention to detail with clear, logical thinking to ensure configurations, requirements, and plans are accurate and complete
• Hands-on technical configuration experience with screens, user interface, application settings/parameters, and branding
• Basic to intermediate software development experience with familiarity of software programming principles and logic-based structures; Velocity experience is a plus
• Business analysis experience across process design, requirements gathering, and synthesis; Green Belt, Six Sigma, or similar training is a nice to have
• Working knowledge of JSON and APIs, with ability to troubleshoot integrations and collaborate with Product and Engineering teams
• Ability to propose creative technical solutions to challenging problems and communicate technical concepts clearly and efficiently
• Strong personal initiative and drive to execute with minimal oversight, and experience working in multifaceted environments wearing many hats
• Banking or finance industry experience is preferred
