STOKE Space is building Nova, a fully reusable launch vehicle designed for daily flight to radically lower space transportation costs and increase launch cadence. As an Infrastructure Engineer at the Moses Lake test facility, you will lead the design, construction, and operation of critical ground systems that enable rapid testing and validation.
You will manage internal engineering projects and contracted firms across civil, structural, electrical, and other disciplines. Key responsibilities include overseeing project budgets and cost tracking, conducting constructability reviews and value engineering assessments, directing contractors and field teams, and ensuring quality control and regulatory compliance. You will develop project scope, manage RFPs and awards, oversee construction execution, support permitting coordination, and maintain as-built documentation through project closeout.
Your experience should span 4+ years in engineering, design/build, and management of critical infrastructure projects in aerospace or similar high-performance sectors (oil & gas, energy systems, heavy equipment). You must have practical knowledge of heavy-civil structural engineering including structural steel, reinforced concrete, deep foundations, and mass earthwork. Strong project management fundamentals are essential: scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, contracts, cost estimation, and field execution. You should be comfortable with engineering standards (ASCE 7, IBC/FBC, AISC 360/358, ACI 318/530, NFPA, ASTM, ASME) and construction drawings.
The role requires autonomy, the ability to work on high-performing teams, excellent communication, and willingness to relocate to Moses Lake and travel as needed. You will be part of a mission-driven team building the infrastructure that enables a scalable space economy.
