Mach9 Robotics is seeking a Community Marketing Manager to build and nurture a thriving customer community around its AI-powered geospatial platform for civil infrastructure design. You will own the complete community experience—from selecting and designing the platform infrastructure to fostering sustained engagement across online spaces, in-person events, and ongoing relationships.
Key responsibilities include: designing community onboarding and moderation practices; initiating and facilitating valuable conversations that encourage peer-to-peer support and learning; developing customer advocates, contributors, and speakers; planning and executing recurring meetups, user groups, and advisory sessions; building partnerships with professional organizations like state surveying associations; creating customer stories and promotional content; and serving as the voice of customers to internal product, engineering, and success teams.
You should have proven experience building or growing customer, professional, alumni, or membership networks with demonstrated ability to create repeat participation beyond one-time events. Strong relationship-building skills, clear written and verbal communication, creative judgment, and organizational independence are essential. Curiosity about surveying, civil engineering, geospatial technology, and infrastructure is important. Bonus skills include experience recruiting without an established brand, photography, graphic design, video production, or background in construction tech, industrial software, engineering, or GIS.
