Jerry is building the first AI agent to manage all your physical assets, starting with car insurance and expanding into home, motorcycle, and RV insurance. With 5M+ customers, $240M+ raised, and profitability since 2024, Jerry is transforming how Americans manage car ownership—a category stuck in the 90s despite representing over 20% of average household income.
As Community Manager, you'll own Jerry's organic presence across Reddit, Quora, YouTube, and TikTok—the platforms where car owners actually congregate and seek advice. This is not about corporate social media management; it's about authentic participation in real communities.
Your responsibilities include:
- Building and growing Jerry's presence on Reddit, Quora, YouTube, and TikTok by understanding each platform's culture and norms
- Developing Jerry's playbook for community engagement: when to post, reply, and stay silent
- Growing Jerry's subreddits into active, trusted communities
- Creating a content and engagement strategy that scales without sacrificing authenticity, leveraging AI where appropriate
- Collaborating with Growth and Content teams to maintain consistency across channels
- Measuring impact through sentiment analysis, share of voice, referral traffic, and LLM citation tracking
You're a platform native who instinctively avoids corporate-speak and writes with a tone that earns upvotes. You have 3+ years of community management or organic social experience, ideally in fintech, insurtech, or other consumer-facing regulated categories. You're a strategic operator who builds systems and understands SEO and how LLMs cite sources. You excel at making "boring" or "stressful" categories feel human and worth following. You're a patient, long-game player who values organic trust over quick PR wins.
Jerry offers competitive compensation with equity opportunities, comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, PTO, parental leave, 401k matching, wellness), and a fully remote-first culture with offices in Palo Alto, New York, Chicago, and Toronto.
