Jerry is building an AI-powered platform to simplify car ownership—from shopping and insurance to repairs and maintenance. With 5M+ users, the company is expanding into home, motorcycle, and RV management. You'll join as Community Manager to build and grow Jerry's organic presence across Reddit, Quora, YouTube, and TikTok, where customers actually congregate and have conversations about car insurance and repairs. In this role, you'll own the strategy and execution of Jerry's community presence across multiple platforms. You'll develop a playbook for how Jerry shows up authentically in each community—deciding when to post, reply, or stay silent. You'll grow Jerry's subreddits into active, trusted communities and build a content and engagement strategy that scales without losing authenticity, leveraging AI where appropriate. You'll work cross-functionally with Growth and Content teams to ensure consistency across channels and measure impact through sentiment analysis, share of voice, referral traffic, and LLM citation metrics. Jerry was founded in 2019, has raised $240M+, achieved profitability in 2024, and is backed by Y Combinator. The company is led by serial entrepreneurs and includes talent from Nvidia, Meta, Amazon, BCG, McKinsey, Bain, and GEICO. Jerry ranks among Y Combinator's Top Companies and Forbes/Statista's Best Startup Employers. The culture emphasizes competitive but kind people who think like owners, care deeply about quality and impact, and pursue learning and mastery. REQUIREMENTS: - 3+ years in community management or organic social, ideally in fintech, insurtech, or another consumer-facing and/or regulated category - Platform native with visceral dislike of corporate-speak; writes with a tone that earns upvotes and moves naturally across Reddit, TikTok, and Quora - Strategic operator who builds systems, not just vibes; understands SEO and how LLMs cite sources - Proven ability to make "boring" or "stressful" categories feel human, authentic, and worth following - Patient, curious long-game player who values organic trust over quick PR wins
