Delta Exchange India is a leading crypto derivatives platform offering INR-settled futures and options on Bitcoin, Ethereum and other major cryptocurrencies. The platform emphasizes automation through REST/WebSocket APIs, Webhooks, an Algo Marketplace, and an AI-powered API Copilot to make algorithmic trading accessible to traders of all levels.
You will build and nurture one of India's most trusted crypto algo trading communities. Currently, algo traders are scattered across Telegram groups, Discord servers, and Twitter threads. The goal is to make Delta Exchange the central hub where beginners deploy their first bot and experienced quants compare execution strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own community engagement across online forums, with focus on structure, rituals, moderation, and day-to-day interaction
- Serve as first responder: answer trader questions, unblock issues, escalate bugs, ensure API questions receive timely answers
- Identify and nurture power users and strategy builders; manage ambassador and early-access programs
- Plan and execute offline meetups, hackathons, and strategy competitions across Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi NCR and other hubs, plus online AMAs, workshops, and guest sessions
- Create educational content that lowers barriers to algo trading: getting-started guides, API tutorials, strategy walkthroughs, backtesting explainers
- Maintain documentation, sample code, and cookbooks; you should be able to write and test basic strategies yourself
- Translate community pain points into structured, prioritized product feedback for the team
- Monitor global trends in agentic tooling, AI copilots, and no-code automation; share insights with users and inform roadmap
- Define and track community metrics: active builders, deployed strategies, resolution time, new-trader retention
Success is measured not by follower counts but by how many traders are actively building and deploying on Delta.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in community management, developer relations, growth, content, or a trader-facing role (exceptional candidates with less formal experience but deep algo credibility will be considered)
- Real understanding of algo trading: you know what a backtest is, why slippage matters, what a webhook does; you don't need to be a quant but cannot fake expertise in front of one
- Genuine enjoyment talking to traders; this role involves hundreds of conversations per month
- Awareness of the algo landscape in India and globally—tools, communities, interesting builders, and direction of the space
- Strong written communication: clear tutorials, crisp announcements, well-structured product feedback
- Comfort with technical material: API docs, sample code, explaining strategies to beginners
- Self-starter with strong ownership, comfortable with ambiguity, willing to travel for events
Good to have:
- Hands-on experience building, backtesting, or running your own strategies or bots
- Existing network in Indian trading, quant, or developer communities
- Experience running Discord/Telegram communities at scale or organizing meetups and hackathons
- Ability to write Python well enough to build demos and debug user issues
- Personal trading experience in crypto or Indian markets
