Jerry is a fintech platform that simplifies car ownership for 5M+ users. The company has built a top-3 car insurance broker, added driving insights and repair marketplace features, and is now expanding into home, motorcycle, and RV insurance. Jerry raised $240M+, achieved profitability in 2024, and operates with offices in Palo Alto, New York, Chicago, and Toronto. As Community Engagement Coordinator, you'll represent Jerry authentically across the communities where car owners actually congregate: Reddit, Quora, TikTok, and YouTube. Rather than treating these channels as broadcast channels, you'll participate genuinely—answering questions in r/personalfinance, engaging in TikTok comment sections, and building Jerry's subreddits into trusted communities. You'll own the full community strategy: developing a playbook for when and how to show up on each platform, scaling content and engagement without losing authenticity, and measuring what matters (sentiment, share of voice, referral traffic, LLM citations). You'll work cross-functionally with Growth and Content teams to ensure consistency while maintaining the platform-native voice that earns upvotes and trust. You're someone who dislikes corporate-speak and writes naturally across Reddit, TikTok, and Quora. You have 3+ years in community management or organic social, ideally in fintech, insurtech, or other consumer-facing regulated categories. You're a strategic operator who builds systems—you understand SEO, how LLMs cite sources, and how to make "boring" or "stressful" categories feel human and worth following. You're a patient, long-game player who values organic trust over quick PR wins.
