You will lead all community and events initiatives, reporting directly to the Head of GTM. This role owns the full spectrum of community-driven growth: designing and executing intimate prospect dinners that convert high-value targets into pipeline, building a recurring event rhythm at the San Francisco HQ, creating a virtual power-user community where customers share best practices and innovations, and managing the company's presence at industry conferences and tradeshows.
Key responsibilities include: designing dinner programs with deliberate guest composition and conversation architecture; capturing community insights and converting them into marketing content (clips, posts, templates); recruiting founding members for the power-user community and seeding initial conversations; building advocate programs (champion tracks, template exchanges, office hours, user-led sessions); coordinating closely with sales to track community interactions in the pipeline; and owning tradeshow strategy, booth presence, speaking slots, and ROI analysis.
You are an experienced event operator who sweats details—guest lists, room composition, timing, first impressions. You know how to get busy senior people to commit and understand that quality of attendees matters far more than quantity. You've built communities from scratch, seeded early conversations, and understand the difference between a Slack channel and a thriving community. You're commercially minded, tracking metrics that matter and making data-driven decisions about investment. You're a strong writer and communicator, comfortable moderating panels and being a visible face of the community. You have credibility in go-to-market strategy and genuine passion for AI, able to hold substantive conversations with founders and VPs of Sales about pipeline execution. You thrive in early-stage environments, comfortable wearing multiple hats, working without a playbook, and maintaining high standards under intense pace.
