Epoch AI is seeking a Communications Specialist to amplify the reach and impact of its AI research among policymakers, journalists, and the general public. Reporting to the Lead Editor, you will execute day-to-day communications initiatives including ad campaigns, media and podcast outreach, newsletter production, social media content, and website updates. Your primary responsibility is ensuring Epoch's research reaches decision-makers in the AI policy and governance space.
The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of professional experience, with meaningful background in communications, marketing, or media. You should write with clarity and precision, and possess sufficient AI knowledge to engage substantively with research and create informed content about the organization's work. This is a fully remote position with flexibility across many countries, though you must maintain at least 4 hours of daily overlap with Pacific Time working hours.
