StubHub/viagogo is seeking a Communications Manager based in Geneva to lead corporate and consumer communications strategy for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Reporting to the Head of Communications for viagogo, you will drive brand visibility, manage media relations, and support policy communications across traditional and digital channels.
Key responsibilities include:
• Develop and execute integrated communications strategies for the DACH market, balancing corporate messaging with consumer-facing brand storytelling
• Lead proactive media relations and brand reputation management, positioning viagogo as a trusted marketplace for live event ticketing
• Support policy communications initiatives, translating regulatory and industry issues into compelling narratives for media, stakeholders, and the public
• Collaborate with the Government Relations team to ensure message alignment on policy matters and regulatory engagement
• Plan and execute integrated campaigns tied to business initiatives, partnerships, and market opportunities
• Manage day-to-day communications activities including press releases, media pitches, and stakeholder engagement
• Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, influencers, and community leaders in the DACH region
• Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, providing insights and recommendations to leadership
You are a creative storyteller with strong strategic thinking skills and proven ability to build relationships across media, policy, and community stakeholders. You thrive at the intersection of culture, brand purpose, and business impact. Experience in communications, PR, or marketing within a fast-growing tech or marketplace company is preferred. Fluency in German and English is essential; French is a plus.
