Mistral is a full-stack AI company providing frontier models, developer tools, applications, and compute infrastructure. They partner with enterprises across finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and public sector to co-create customized AI systems.
As Communications Lead, Enterprise Business, you will own how Mistral is positioned and understood in the global AI landscape. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role reporting to leadership and partnering directly with GTM, Marketing, Solutions, Science, and executive teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Craft and distribute business communications assets (press releases, Q&As, blog posts, op-eds, social content) across PR, digital, and executive platforms
- Build and own vertical narratives for priority sectors (FSI, manufacturing, public sector) and execute coordinated global campaigns
- Shape competitive storytelling that positions Mistral against rivals and grows share of voice
- Support major deals and partnerships end-to-end, from first conversation to public announcement (e.g., Microsoft, HSBC partnerships)
- Prepare and train spokespersons including Founders and Executives for interviews, press conferences, media roundtables, and global stages like Davos
- Establish consistent communications cadence independent of milestone cycles
- Monitor reputation, report on results, and provide strategic recommendations
- Scale the function using AI and stay current on industry trends
You will need strong B2B tech communications experience, ideally in global tech/AI brands. Deep PR expertise at regional level or above is essential—including press release writing, organizing global press conferences, and knowledge of the tech/AI media landscape. Exceptional writing across multiple formats and audiences is required. You should be comfortable with creative 360° campaigns, briefing external agencies, positioning thought leaders, and navigating ambiguity with a bias for action. Strategic mindset connecting science, product, and business storytelling is critical.
