Ramp is building intelligent financial infrastructure for enterprise and mid-market companies, automating how over $200B in annualized spend flows through 70,000+ organizations. The platform handles payment authorization, risk flagging, spend categorization, and financial close processes.
As Commercial Account Manager for Canada, you will be the primary relationship owner post-implementation for a portfolio of 150–200 commercial customers, with a specific focus on building Ramp's presence in the Canadian market. This is a newly created role dedicated to Canadian-based accounts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with high-value commercial customers, managing account health and reporting
- Developing multi-threaded relationships with decision makers across customer organizations
- Driving spend activation and expansion within your portfolio through retention, product adoption, and cross-sell opportunities
- Leading Executive Business Reviews to identify growth opportunities and align on strategy
- Executing successful platform launches with top-tier accounts in partnership with Account Executives and Customer Success teams
- Collaborating with product, support, and marketing teams to inform roadmap recommendations and enhance customer experience
Required qualifications: minimum 3 years of new business sales or account management experience in B2B; ability to anticipate customer needs and identify expansion opportunities; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong organizational and project management capabilities; familiarity with sales tools and metrics; adaptability in a fast-moving startup environment.
Nice-to-haves include a bachelor's degree, financial services sales experience, high-growth startup background, proficiency with Salesforce or Outreach, and familiarity with accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) or accounting credentials (CPA).
This is a full-time, in-office role in Toronto requiring 5 days per week on-site.
