KAYAK, part of Booking Holdings, is a leading travel search engine serving billions of queries across its portfolio of global metasearch brands including momondo, Cheapflights, and HotelsCombined. The Search Data & Quality team ensures that travel results seen by millions of users daily are accurate, complete, and trustworthy.
As a Commercial Operations Specialist, you will own a dedicated area of accuracy operations within KAYAK's hotel search results. Your core responsibilities include maintaining and operating recurring monitoring processes to track accuracy across hotel search results, proactively identifying issues before they impact users or partners. You will investigate accuracy issues such as price discrepancies, availability mismatches, and linking errors, categorize root causes, and coordinate with colleagues across Engineering, Performance Marketing, and Commercial to drive resolution.
You will define and document clear escalation paths to ensure the right teams are engaged at the right time and recurring issues are tracked through to completion. Building and maintaining comprehensive documentation is critical to ensure coverage and backup are always in place. You will monitor key performance indicators to identify risks and opportunities, proposing practical solutions based on data analysis.
Collaboration is central to this role—you will coordinate with Engineering, Performance Marketing, and Commercial colleagues, translating technical findings into clear, actionable requests for both technical and non-technical audiences. As the scope evolves, you will contribute to broader data quality initiatives and share knowledge with teammates to support the team's learning on accuracy operations, tools, and processes.
The role is based in KAYAK's Berlin office and requires 3 days per week on-site, with flexibility to work remotely up to 20 days per year.

- Comfort working with data (e.g., SQL or comparable tools) and ability to turn findings into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical colleagues
