Salary: USD 93,500 - 182,850 / annual
Commvault is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to drive new business and manage existing customer relationships across the New England territory. This is a field sales role focused on selling complex data protection and cyber resilience software solutions to mid-market and enterprise customers.
You will be responsible for territory planning, identifying and qualifying leads, and generating new business opportunities to achieve quarterly and annual revenue quotas. The role requires consistent face-to-face engagement with customers, prospects, and local resellers. You'll develop strategic relationships with channel partners, assist in partner enablement programs, and lead deal negotiations through close.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and qualifying leads to build a robust pipeline of new logo opportunities
- Maintaining high-frequency face-to-face meeting activity with customers, prospects, and partners
- Developing territory plans that leverage existing relationships and partner ecosystems
- Building and maintaining strategic partner relationships for pipeline generation
- Presenting sales proposals with quantifiable business cases and technical value propositions
- Negotiating and closing deals following company processes
- Ensuring orders meet legal and financial requirements
- Planning and coordinating executive briefings
- Maintaining industry and product knowledge
You bring a minimum of five years of proven success in enterprise software sales, with at least two years of experience identifying, building relationships, and selling through channel partners. You have a strong understanding of the storage management and IT infrastructure landscape, including competitors, trends, and emerging market dynamics. Excellent communication, persuasion, and active listening skills are essential. A Bachelor's degree is required.
