As a Commercial Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle from discovery through close, building relationships with HR and Finance decision-makers at mid-market companies. You'll drive consultative sales processes that help prospects understand and solve their compensation challenges, balancing inbound opportunities with strong outbound prospecting efforts.
Key responsibilities include: owning the complete sales cycle with HR and Finance leaders; executing consultative sales processes; collaborating with product and customer success teams to provide market feedback; participating in strategic initiatives alongside the founding team; maintaining a balanced approach between inbound and outbound prospecting; and contributing to the development and refinement of the sales playbook as the company scales.
You should bring 2+ years of successful SaaS sales experience with a proven track record of quota achievement in the SMB/Mid-Market space. The ideal candidate has a strong hunter mentality, excellence in discovery and solution positioning, ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced startup environment, strong emotional intelligence, and a collaborative mindset. Experience in HR tech or compensation technology is valuable but not required.
Pave operates a hybrid culture with teams in person 3-4 days per week. The company is headquartered in San Francisco's Financial District with regional hubs in New York City, Salt Lake City, Kraków, and the United Kingdom.
