The Collections Manager role sits within Revolut's Credit team, which creates and scales lending features across global markets. You will build out in-country debt collections processes and procedures for Argentina, managing the end-to-end collections lifecycle for retail credit portfolios.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the development of compliant and effective debt collections processes
- Owning and managing the entire debt collections process for retail credit portfolios
- Ensuring collections processes are efficient and compliant with local laws
- Optimizing both in-house and outsourced collection capabilities using technology, analytics, and strategic payment programs
- Documenting policies and procedures for debt collection and recoveries
- Developing collection strategies to maximize recoveries and improve cure rates
- Continuously improving collection processes, metrics, and tools
- Selecting and overseeing debt collection agencies (DCAs) to ensure SLA adherence
- Managing performance and relationships with third-party service providers
This is a hands-on role that combines process design, team oversight, and strategic optimization. You'll work with the latest technology and analytics to drive improvements in collections performance.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of experience in debt collection and recoveries in a retail bank, fintech, or debt collection agency
- Experience creating and documenting collections processes
- Solid understanding of debt portfolio management, debt sales, and debt restructuring
- Good knowledge of credit products
- Knowledge of local debt collection laws and regulations (Argentina-specific knowledge valuable)
- Performance and relationship management skills with third-party service providers
- Highly analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
- Curiosity and drive to identify and implement improvements and automation opportunities
