ScyllaDB is hiring a Full-Stack Cloud Software Engineer to own cloud features end-to-end on Scylla Cloud, their managed Database-as-a-Service platform. You will design, build, and deploy cloud features spanning backend services (Go/Node.js), frontend interfaces (React), database schema design, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and production support.
The role emphasizes AI-accelerated development: you'll leverage cutting-edge AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, LLM-driven test generation) to multiply productivity and deliver robust software at high velocity. You'll own the full lifecycle—from requirements and architecture through implementation, testing, and post-release monitoring.
Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-end feature ownership: design, code, test, deploy, and support cloud features
- Build scalable APIs and responsive user interfaces
- Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Design comprehensive test suites (unit, integration, E2E)
- Participate in production monitoring and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with Product and UX teams to translate concepts into user-friendly experiences
You should be a capable, ambitious engineer comfortable with full-stack development, cloud infrastructure, and modern AI-driven development workflows. Experience with database systems, cloud platforms, and shipping production features is expected.
