PointFive is an AI Efficiency OS that helps engineering and FinOps teams optimize cloud and AI spending. The company recently closed a $60M Series B led by Accel and was founded by the team behind IntSights (acquired by Rapid7). As Cloud Efficiency Architect, you'll be the first person building PointFive's professional services practice from the ground up. You'll own a portfolio of enterprise accounts primarily in North America, serving as a trusted advisor on cloud and AI cost optimization. Your responsibilities include: - Advising enterprise customers on cloud and AI efficiency, helping them operationalize cost optimization best practices and define requirements for custom applications and agentic workflows on the PointFive platform - Owning end-to-end relationships with a portfolio of NAM accounts, working directly with customer engineering and cloud architecture teams to review infrastructure and drive optimization at scale - Building the professional services offering from scratch—defining what to sell, how to package it, how to deliver it, and running initial engagements yourself before scaling with software, automation, and team - Establishing best practices for AI and token spend management, positioning PointFive as the leading authority in this emerging field - Accelerating enterprise deals alongside sales, representing professional services in the sales cycle and owning the customer handoff - Driving renewals and expansion across the customer base - Translating field insights back into product, turning customer feedback into feature requests and roadmap influence - Building your profile as a thought leader through writing, speaking, and industry events You'll need 7+ years of enterprise experience in FinOps, cloud cost optimization, or cloud financial management, with a background in engineering, cloud architecture, or DevOps. You should have hands-on ability to build and ship custom applications, automations, and agentic workflows. Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, and Databricks cost models is essential, along with working knowledge of AI/LLM cost management. You'll have experience delivering professional services or advisory engagements, managing multiple customer engagements simultaneously, and working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Engineering teams.
