Castlight Health seeks a Clinical Technology Educator II to support enterprise onboarding and education for clinical technology applications. You will deliver standardized training programs, maintain educational materials, coordinate onboarding activities, and assist with competency validation for care center team members.
Key responsibilities include delivering instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced learning sessions using established curricula; maintaining and updating job aids, workflow documentation, training materials, and competency assessments to reflect approved changes; coordinating onboarding schedules, learner assignments, and educational records; administering competency assessments and documenting results; and collaborating with Clinical Workflow Enablement, Operations, Learning & Development, and Clinical Technology teams to support workflow adoption and organizational readiness.
You will collect learner feedback, monitor training outcomes, and recommend improvements to educational materials and onboarding processes. The role requires working knowledge of ambulatory clinical workflows, electronic health record applications, and healthcare technology systems. You'll work independently on moderately complex assignments under general supervision, with decisions impacting your own work and routine deliverables within the clinical technology education domain.
Required qualifications include an Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration, Education, Health Informatics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience), typically 2-4 years supporting healthcare operations, clinical technology applications, onboarding, or training delivery. You must have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, virtual learning technologies, learning management systems, and healthcare applications, plus strong facilitation, communication, organization, and customer service skills. Up to 50% travel required.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Education, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Health Informatics, or Business; experience with athena EHR or other ambulatory EHR systems; knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design; and experience with practice onboarding or healthcare technology implementations.
