Nest Health is a Series A value-based care provider built for families, offering comprehensive medical, behavioral, and social care through in-home and virtual models. Founded in 2022 by Dr. Rebekah Gee (former Louisiana Secretary of Health) and Rebecca Kavoussi, Nest delivers primary adult and pediatric care, mental health and nutrition support, vaccinations, labs, acute visits, chronic condition management, and social services navigation.
The Clinical Supervisor role is central to maintaining high standards of care and operational excellence across Nest's care model. You will oversee daily clinical operations, ensuring smooth and reliable care delivery while supporting quality, consistency, and reliability across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure smooth, reliable care delivery
• Align schedules with patient needs and provide backup coverage during PTO, lunches, or staffing gaps
• Support local teams by serving as a backup to the Market Operations Lead and VFC (Virtual Family Care)
• Train and onboard the Family Advocate (Medical Assistant) team
• Conduct skills checkoffs and readiness certifications to maintain high clinical standards
• Provide in-office and field-based backup support for Family Advocates as needed
• Act as a SuperUser for Nest platforms, ensuring accurate training and support
• Facilitate crucial conversations and provide feedback to team members
This is primarily an office-based position with occasional field work in family homes. You will work in a fast-paced startup environment with role breadth, learning opportunities, autonomy, and strong collaboration expectations. The position involves educating and encouraging vaccination against COVID-19.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times
• Access to reliable transportation and willingness to comply with Nest Motor Vehicle Safety Policy
Requirements:
• High school diploma with Medical Assistant (MA) designation or equivalent; MA certification preferred
• At least 3 years' experience working as a Medical Assistant or equivalent clinical experience
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
• Comfortability with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
• Ability to teach and monitor compliance with common primary care procedures (immunization, venipuncture, point-of-care testing)
• Ability to facilitate crucial conversations and provide feedback
• Excellent multitasking skills and ability to adapt to a busy environment
• Previous leadership experience both individually and across multistate environments is preferred
