Marble Health is building an operating system for youth mental health that connects schools, therapists, and health plans on a single platform. The company addresses a critical gap: 1 in 10 teens attempted suicide last year, driven largely by lack of access to quality, affordable care. Marble partners with school counselors to connect students to licensed therapists through existing insurance coverage with no waitlists. As the first Clinical Operations Lead, you will own the clinical program that determines whether Marble's model works. You'll be the senior clinical voice inside the operating team, serving as the escalation point for clinicians and operators on clinical judgment calls. You'll work closely with co-founders, the medical director, head of operations, and the care quality product engineering team. Key responsibilities include: **Network Quality and Curation:** Own the quality bar as the network scales—deciding who joins and who stays. Run regular coaching cadences with clinicians and supervisors, review clinical quality concerns and complaints, and design the process for raising, reviewing, and resolving concerns. **Safety, Risk, and Clinical Guidance:** Serve as the escalation point for high-stakes moments. Own crisis response and safety protocols (suicidal ideation, higher level of care, mandated reporting, incident intake and investigation). Handle escalations from supervisors and clinicians, and write new protocols when gaps emerge. **Clinical Protocols and Standards:** Own the protocols governing day-to-day care—discharge and disengagement, documentation standards and chart audits, measurement-based care, treatment planning support for key conditions. Bring working knowledge of HIPAA, FERPA, minor consent, and clinical documentation requirements to operations. You'll also carry a small caseload on the platform to keep your clinical judgment current, maintain credibility with the network, and understand the provider experience firsthand. Marble is an early-stage, fast-moving team. This is a greenfield opportunity to build something from the ground up with leadership support and a clear growth path. **Requirements:** - Active, unrestricted independent clinical license in New York (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent); licensure in New Jersey or Arizona, or willingness to obtain it, is a plus - 5+ years building and leading clinical operations or tech-enabled service delivery (not purely clinical supervision—must have run something) - Direct experience owning clinical quality management: managing teams, setting standards, and installing operating rhythms that hold them - Experience with a distributed clinician network spanning credential types and states - Willing to carry a small caseload on the platform - Strongest fits bring telehealth experience and adolescent or school-based behavioral health background - Comfortable operating with incomplete information and writing the playbook as you go
