Fabric Health is seeking a Clinical Informatics Lead to own the quality and safety layer for the Medical Intelligence Team (MIT), which builds clinical content, algorithms, and LLM-driven protocols powering the platform. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for a licensed clinician with formal clinical quality experience who wants to define quality standards for AI-driven care delivery. You will build validation frameworks, set evidence standards, run review cadences, and serve as the clinical authority determining whether work is safe to ship. Key responsibilities include: partnering with MIT staff to outline clinical logic, reference sources, and triage routing; developing AI algorithms and QA processes aligned with medicine's Quadruple Aim; providing first-pass clinical reviews with evidence-based recommendations; becoming proficient with LLMs and AI tools to enhance team efficiency and product capabilities; assisting with data analyses and platform implementations; representing Fabric professionally in client meetings; and delivering on tight deadlines across documentation, workflow reviews, and ad hoc clinical support. You excel at translating complex medical decision-making into structured workflows, bridging technical engineers and frontline clinicians, and synthesizing evidence-based medicine guidelines into actionable logic. You're already experimenting with LLMs for clinical efficiency, comfortable with ambiguity in fast-moving startup environments, and hold a high clinical bar for safety and empathy. You're self-motivated, process-oriented, and thrive in evolving spaces where priorities pivot and guidelines shift weekly. Fabric Health powers boundless care by solving clinical capacity challenges through intelligent automation, making care delivery 2-10x more efficient. Trusted by leading health systems including Intermountain Health, OSF HealthCare, and MUSC Health, the company is backed by premier investors including Thrive Capital, GV (Google Ventures), and General Catalyst.
