Ceribell is a medical technology company transforming the diagnosis and management of serious neurological conditions through its novel point-of-care EEG platform. The Ceribell System is deployed across hundreds of community hospitals, academic facilities, and major integrated delivery networks nationwide.
As a Clinical Account Manager, you will drive new hospital launches and organic growth of the installed base while providing ongoing medical education to physicians and clinical staff. This is a field-based role requiring 60% travel (3 days per week) covering Iowa and northern Illinois, including Davenport, Elgin, Rockford, and Naperville.
Key responsibilities include:
**Driving New and Organic Growth:**
- Expand Ceribell usage to additional acute and critical care centers within existing customer accounts
- Partner with the Territory Manager to launch Ceribell at new customer sites
- Drive new product and technology introductions for existing customers
- Build clinical advocacy and identify champions within facilities using hospital data
- Develop qualified lead funnels through formal presentations, peer-to-peer education, and physician training
- Manage upgrades and departmental expansion in existing accounts
- Provide strong project management support for new account launches
**Clinical Training and Education:**
- Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on clinical merits and proper usage of Ceribell products
- Become a clinical expert in use cases and relevant patient populations
- Troubleshoot workflow solutions for departments
- Partner with clinicians to identify and establish seizure-risk protocols
- Lead clinical teams through training sessions on workflow and applications
**Reporting and Administration:**
- Submit required reports and training documentation on schedule
- Manage administrative tasks using Salesforce
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Work cross-functionally to ensure successful product deployment
- Collaborate closely with Territory Manager and field-based team
You should have 3-5 years of recent critical care sales experience, or 5+ years in medical device/pharma sales, or be an RN with industry experience supporting sales teams. Strong communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential. You must be based in the region; remote work is not available.
