Tempus is a precision medicine platform that uses AI to deliver real-time, actionable insights to physicians about optimal treatments for patients. This Clinical Account Associate role supports the Clinical Account Executive team in the Dallas territory, working to grow and retain oncology and pathology clients. Key responsibilities include: - Partner with Clinical Account Executives and broader sales team (VP, RSD, DSM, SAM, GL) to achieve company sales goals and objectives - Identify upsell and expansion opportunities with existing customers for Tempus algorithmic tests and add-ons (HRD, TO, DPYD, UGT1A1, PURist) - Drive customer adoption of Tempus Hub online ordering and EMR integrations - Build and maintain relationships with physicians, office staff, and pathology departments to generate clinical orders and ensure smooth specimen sendouts - Develop and implement comprehensive territory business plans including budgets, travel, goal-setting, and performance monitoring - Maintain regular cadence of touchpoints with targeted accounts (e.g., 3x monthly per physician) through in-person visits and value-add communications - Coordinate Medical Affairs report reviews with physicians post-testing - Manage order kit and literature replenishment - Identify and attend approved local conferences - Analyze competitive landscape and provide customer feedback to leadership - Support clinical data collection and progress note gathering for Tempus-tested patients Ideal candidate has a B.S. in biology, life science, business, or marketing. Preferred qualifications include sales support experience in healthcare (oncology/pathology preferred) or general clinical background. Must demonstrate ability to quickly learn genomic and oncology information, work independently, manage multiple priorities, maintain strong customer service skills, and travel throughout the territory as needed.
