Ownwell is building technology and services to help real estate owners reduce property tax burden through assessment monitoring, appeals, and strategic advisory. The company combines proprietary software, licensed tax professionals, and deep market expertise to serve everyone from single-family rental operators to institutional REITs.
As Client Success Manager, you will own a portfolio of real estate investor accounts and serve as the primary relationship manager for asset managers, CFOs, and owner-operators. Your responsibilities include:
• Build and maintain trust with high-net-worth clients by deeply understanding their portfolio strategy and investment objectives, not just their individual case files.
• Own property tax appeal strategy at the county level for your accounts. Make informed decisions on when to push appeals, when to settle, and communicate reasoning clearly to sophisticated clients.
• Coordinate across internal operations teams, external property tax consultants, and clients to manage appeals across your entire book of business without losing track of individual cases.
• Deliver transparent results and proactively flag properties requiring additional attention before they escalate.
• Identify expansion opportunities within existing relationships—new entities, new markets, larger engagements—and pursue them proactively rather than waiting for renewal cycles.
• Bring insights from your accounts back to Product, Engineering, and tax strategy teams to improve both platform tools and tax approaches for future clients.
You should have meaningful experience in real estate, proptech, property tax, or institutional account management. Strong fluency with real estate fundamentals (valuation, cap rates, NOI, occupancy trends, rent rolls) is essential. You must be comfortable earning trust with high-net-worth individuals and holding your own with C-suite executives. Data literacy and ability to communicate value through reporting and analysis are important. The role operates at the pace of a fast-growing tech company—data-driven, fast-moving, and closely connected to product evolution.
