As Client Success Associate for APAC, you will manage a growing portfolio of institutional clients across the region, serving as their primary point of contact and driving both retention and expansion. Your responsibilities span three core areas:
Client Coverage & Engagement: You'll own a book of institutional clients, building and maintaining account growth plans tailored to each client's business model and strategic priorities. You'll drive proactive engagement to ensure every APAC client has a high-quality relationship with OpenFX, deeply understanding their business to uncover opportunities and strengthen relationships over time.
Account Growth & Expansion: You'll analyze client data to identify volume growth and product adoption opportunities, developing strategies to help clients optimize their FX flows and deepen platform activity. You'll independently own the cross-sell pipeline, driving adoption of new currency pairs and products as they launch globally.
Operational Excellence: You'll build structured management frameworks for long-tail accounts, monitor client health metrics across your book, and proactively identify growth and retention risks. You'll coordinate with Product and Ops teams to resolve issues promptly and channel structured feedback into product development.
The role emphasizes AI-powered scale—you'll leverage AI tools as a core part of daily workflows to automate routine tasks, deepen client insights, and create capacity for higher-value interactions. You'll help establish AI-forward practices that set a new standard for the Client Success function globally.
Required: 3+ years fintech or financial services experience, 5+ years total professional experience in account management, sales, consulting, or business operations, proven ability to use data to understand client health and surface risks/opportunities, advanced fluency with AI tools, excellent communication and relationship management skills, and demonstrated ability to manage a client book independently.
Preferred: Experience in cross-border payments (remittance, PSPs, neobanks, payment infrastructure), understanding of FX markets and trading operations, B2B client success or sales background, and business-level Mandarin proficiency.
