Blend is seeking a Client Sales Executive for Named Accounts to serve as the strategic quarterback for top-tier financial institution customers—some of the largest banks and credit unions in the US with $20B+ in AUM. You will own the overall relationship with an assigned portfolio, driving expansion, retention, and executive alignment. Reporting to the Director of Client Sales - Named Accounts, you'll collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, Support, and Consulting to ensure customers realize full value from their Blend partnership. You'll define and execute long-term account strategies, align on customer goals and success metrics, and identify new opportunities for meaningful growth. Key responsibilities include: (1) Account Strategy & Expansion (50%): Develop and execute strategies targeting 10-15% annual expansion through additional licenses and premium modules; own renewal strategies to uplift product-for-life and drive usage; identify cross-sell/upsell opportunities using customization and adoption insights; lead Quarterly Business Reviews with executive stakeholders presenting ROI and strategic roadmaps. (2) Relationship Management (30%): Build and maintain C-level relationships with client executives; serve as escalation point for strategic issues including compliance disputes and contract renewals. (3) Team Coordination (15%): Partner with Senior Professional Services Consultants and Training & Enablement Specialists on customization needs, feature adoption, and training outcomes; own and expand annual services spend/P&L; coordinate with centralized due diligence teams for executive-level TPRM escalations. (4) Reporting (5%): Maintain CRM updates on account health, opportunities, and risks; track expansion metrics and retention rates for leadership. Required: 7-10 years in account management or sales in SaaS/fintech with proven enterprise-level account management; experience driving expansion for financial institutions, ideally with SaaS or low-code platforms; experience with loan origination software, digital account opening, digital lending, and mortgage solutions; familiarity with Top 50 Banks and Credit Unions. Strong strategic account planning and revenue growth expertise; exceptional executive communication and negotiation skills; proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce; ability to synthesize customization and adoption data. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred). Must be a strategic thinker with customer-centric mindset, high ownership, and ability to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics.
