Salary: USD 200,000 - 235,000 / annual

Pathstream is seeking a Client Partner to own and grow an enterprise B2B portfolio of clients within a specific industry or set of industries. This is a high-visibility, matrixed senior-level role that combines consultative selling, strategy, relationship management, analytics, and execution. You will report to the CRO and own your portfolio of clients, the program outcomes delivered, and the overall health and growth of the portfolio. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing portfolio group members from customer success, marketing, and operations to drive execution; working with product, coaching, learning design, and engineering partners to address evolving needs; serving as account lead for one client in your portfolio; and managing one customer success leader who oversees day-to-day account management of remaining clients. Key responsibilities: **Portfolio Ownership & Growth:** - Own portfolio metrics—what clients are buying, which business metrics you move, what winning engagements look like—and refresh quarterly - Drive renewals across the portfolio and expansion within each client's division (more users, geographies, adjacent lines of business) - Move clients through proof-of-concept, paid pilot, and division rollout on defined timelines - Serve as account lead for one client, held to the same standard as others - Establish internal partners' understanding of key issues impacting your industry; stay abreast of public company performance; anticipate trends **Program Performance & Offering Effectiveness:** - Directly guide matrixed partners from customer success, marketing, and operations - Track client program performance closely; understand data including client performance and attrition to calculate ROI - Evaluate and provide substantive feedback on user-facing marketing - Deliver quarterly verdicts per client on whether coaching, curriculum, and user experience deliver business objectives and ROI goals **Portfolio Leadership:** - Set the portfolio's operating cadence and agenda - Set and uphold the portfolio's quality bar for client-facing narratives - Manage and develop your customer success lead; set priorities for matrixed partners - Make the case for resources your portfolio needs; translate what's working into scalable operational processes **Requirements:** - 7+ years in strategic partnerships, customer success, program management, general management, or consulting—ideally owning a portfolio of large enterprise clients - Track record of owning a number (not just a workstream) and achieving/exceeding renewal, expansion, and revenue targets - Strong analytical skills: comfortable pulling and interpreting data; clearly communicating findings to diverse stakeholders - Exceptional written communication: crisp executive summaries, thoughtful client emails, substantive feedback - Proven ability to drive alignment across multiple internal teams without direct authority - Proven track record of developing and maintaining strong relationships internally and externally - Strategic thinker who can zoom out to set direction and zoom in to unblock execution - High performer with early-stage experience; comfortable with ambiguity; highly motivated - Ability to work from NYC office minimum 2–3 days per week - Financial services, insurance, or contact center experience a plus - Prior strategy consulting experience a plus
