Brex is a fintech platform enabling companies to spend smarter through corporate cards, banking, spend management, and travel software. As a Client Development Representative, you'll own customer engagement and expansion within an assigned portfolio of existing Brex customers, combining high-velocity outreach with consultative discovery to identify growth opportunities and drive measurable revenue outcomes. You'll drive daily customer outreach across email, phone, and social channels to generate qualified expansion pipelines. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for your assigned customer portfolio, helping them extract maximum value from Brex's suite of solutions. Your responsibilities include leading structured discovery calls, developing commercial proposals, and negotiating deal terms while maintaining deep understanding of customer workflows, accounting processes, and financial priorities. You'll build relationships with finance stakeholders ranging from Controllers to CFOs, tailoring value messaging and surfacing risks early. Cross-functional collaboration is essential—you'll partner with Underwriting, Deal Desk, and account teams to balance customer needs with commercial impact. You'll maintain rigorous CRM hygiene, activity tracking, opportunity qualification, and proactive stakeholder communication. Additionally, you'll advocate for customers internally by sharing feedback and insights that improve product and customer experience. The role is based in New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, or Vancouver with a hybrid model requiring three coordinated days in-office per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday), plus up to four weeks annual fully remote work. Requirements: 2+ years customer-facing experience in sales, hospitality, or customer service; strong urgency and adaptability in live conversations; excellent written and verbal communication; demonstrated cross-functional collaboration; coachability and growth mindset; Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field. Bonus experience includes managing books of business, familiarity with finance workflows and ERPs, fintech/payments background, knowledge of credit and underwriting, high-growth startup experience, and comfort with Salesforce and Gong.
