ASAPP is seeking a Chief Product Officer to lead the company's product strategy and portfolio. This is a C-level role with full organizational scope, responsible for defining product vision, converting AI research into production-grade products, and leading cross-functional teams across Research, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Delivery. Key responsibilities include: **Strategy & Portfolio:** Define vision and priorities for the ASAPP portfolio, identifying where the company can create durable differentiation. Translate customer, market, and technology shifts into a focused roadmap. Partner with Research and Engineering to convert AI advances into intuitive, reliable, commercially valuable products. Work directly with customers to understand critical problems, identify repeating patterns, and convert them into reusable product and platform capabilities. **Ownership & Quality:** Lead products end-to-end from incubation through production deployment, adoption, expansion, and scale. Establish clear ownership, success metrics, and accountability. Ensure customers can deploy ASAPP's GenerativeAgent and reach measurable value. Maintain high standards for reliability, integrations, usability, configurability, adoption, speed to value, and business results. Use production telemetry, customer feedback, operational data, and business metrics to identify issues and set investment priorities. Set and hold a high bar for AI quality, evaluation, safety, reliability, latency, and observability. Establish clear priorities, make hard tradeoffs, and partner with Engineering to ship with urgency, stability, and technical excellence. **Organization & Market:** Work with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Delivery to refine positioning, packaging, segmentation, and product strategy based on actual customer behavior. Build trust across functions and align the organization around product priorities and customer outcomes. Recruit, develop, and retain outstanding Product and Design talent. Build an organization with strong leaders, clear accountability, and excellent judgment while remaining personally engaged in critical decisions. **Requirements:** - Significant experience building and scaling AI products that enterprise customers run in production - Strong familiarity with modern generative AI, agentic systems, and AI-powered workflows - Ability to engage meaningfully with researchers and engineers on AI systems, orchestration, knowledge and retrieval, evaluation, safety, latency, reliability, data, and platform architecture - Record of personally building products through ambiguity, finding product-market fit, and scaling from there - Experience in complex B2B environments with deep integrations, many stakeholders, demanding production requirements, and long-running deployments - Comfortable with senior enterprise customers; able to distinguish between individual customer requests and broader market patterns - Demonstrated ability to find common patterns across customer needs and turn them into scalable product or platform capabilities - Strong prioritization, metrics orientation, and accountability - Proven ability to attract, develop, and lead exceptional Product and Design talent - Ability to build trust across Research, Engineering, Sales, Delivery, and executive teams **Strongly Preferred:** - Enterprise customer experience, contact center, or communications products background - Voice AI, conversational AI, or real-time AI systems experience - Developer platforms, extensible enterprise platforms, or complex enterprise workflow products - Experience working closely with AI research teams and bringing research advances into production - Technology partnerships and ecosystem integrations experience
