Parachute Health is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to own the company's operating system during a critical growth phase. The company is transforming post-acute care as a leading digital ordering platform for medical equipment and supplies, connecting 300,000+ clinicians and 3,000+ supplier locations across all 50 states, serving 15M+ patients.
In this internal-facing, execution-first executive role, you will design and run the company's operating cadence, including operating reviews, cross-functional planning, and accountability systems. You'll drive execution against company KPIs, break ties across departments, and own the seams between functions where execution typically falters. You'll translate strategy into annual operating plans and quarterly commitments in partnership with the CEO and CFO.
You own end-to-end customer implementations across suppliers, health systems, and payors, managing surge capacity for major 2026 payor go-lives with predictable timelines and quality. You'll own delivery economics—on-time and on-budget performance, implementation costs, and the direct connection between go-live velocity and revenue recognition. Implementation speed drives revenue in the transaction-based model.
A defining first-year priority is transforming customer support and service quality to materially improve clinician retention and strengthen enterprise escalation management. You'll move the service model from reactive to proactive, building instrumented client-health scoring, early-warning signals, and retention playbooks. You'll run operational functions serving live customers day-to-day with clean handoffs to account management and customer success teams.
You'll partner with the Chief AI Officer to embed AI and automation throughout operating functions, absorbing rising volume with flat or sublinear headcount growth. This role complements a specialized leadership team: you do not own field sales (CRO), growth architecture or strategic partnerships (CGO), revenue operations and commercial systems (EVP Revenue Operations), or finance (CFO). You are the integrator—the leader who orchestrates across functions so the CEO can focus on product, market, and external strategy.
